Countertops

At Kustom Kabinetry, we offer Quartz, Granite, Corian, and Laminate countertop surfaces.

We highly recommend Quartz, our best-seller, due to its outstanding durability and resistance to heat, scratching, and staining. It’s very hard and strong, and never needs to be sealed. It is made of natural quartz set into a man-made resin. It has much the same look & feel as granite, but without the weaknesses of granite.

Corian is also beautiful, but is a bit softer and not as resistant to heat. It is prone to small superficial scratches on the surface over time that may give a dull appearance in highly used areas. However, it is repairable and can be buffed by a professional to bring back a nearly new appearance.

Granite is a beautiful product as well although it is a bit more prone to cracking, scratching, and staining. It does need to be maintained with a sealer to avoid stains from liquids.

Laminate is perfect for the customer looking for a good quality countertop at a lower cost. The Wilsonart High Definition (HD) laminate is more durable than ever and we recommend it to anyone who is not interested in the stone look/cost.

We ask that our customers provide their faucet. It will need to be at the jobsite at the time of the countertop measure which is normally two days after the cabinet install.

You may want a 4” splash installed. If you plan to install tile or another surface on the entire back wall (between base and upper cabinets), you may not need the 4” splash.
